National Construction Workforce (NCW) is a skilled construction labor contractor specializing in commercial and industrial labor leasing. NCW’s home office remains in Indianapolis, Indiana where the company was founded in 2000. Our closely held structure, and mid-market based overhead allow us to react quickly and competitively to our national client’s needs. While National Construction is based out of the Midwest, our team is prepared to service skilled labor needs of contractors all over the United States. Our Team

Steve Wise is President and founder of National Construction. Steve focuses on operations and heads up National Construction’s field recruiting department. He started in the skilled construction labor leasing business in 1991. He attended Ohio State University and is originally from Akron Ohio.

Karen Hilker has been with National Construction for nine years. Karen is National Construction’s office manager, and focuses on accounts receivable and payable and employee payroll.

Dan Mattingly focuses on operations and business development for National Construction. Dan has a CFP, which helps in NCW’s understanding of the cost of employee’s and employee benefits, and graduated from Loyola University Chicago with a degree in Economics and a degree in Finance. Dan is originally from Indianapolis Indiana, where he comes from a long family tradition of commercial construction.

Ashley Kutch is the Director of Business Development for National Construction. Ashley has a background in industrial sales and focuses on operations and management for NCW’s business development team. She graduated from Indiana State University and is originally from Southern Indiana. Ashley currently resides in Fishers, IN.

Matt Ferguson is a Field Manager with National Construction. He focuses on field recruiting, management and job site safety. Matt is a graduate of Butler University and a four year letter winner on the Men’s Baseball Team. Matt is from Indianapolis, IN and currently runs NCW’s office in Denver, Colorado.

Ashley Cox focuses on administration. Ashley graduated from Indiana University and is experienced in sales and customer service. She recently moved back from Dallas, Texas and currently resides in Carmel, Indiana.

Patrick Read is a Field Manager with National Construction. He focuses on field recruiting, management and job site safety. He graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management and a minor in Business Administration. Born and raised in Nashville Tennessee, Patrick brings over eight years of project and field leadership experience in construction to the team.

Jamie Eckert focuses on business development with National Construction. She was born on the south side of Indianapolis and comes from a strong family background in the construction industry. Her studies at Ivy Tech in Admin/Management along with substantial Customer Service experience makes her a perfect fit for her role.

Warren Hawkins is a Recruiter with NCW. He is a lifelong resident of the Westside of Indianapolis, IN and a graduate of Lincoln College of Technology, as an Electronic System Technician. Warren is a graduate of North Central High School. He has extensive experience in construction field leadership.

Nick Szymanski is Director of Recruiting for National Construction. He focuses on operations and management of NCW’s recruitment process. Nick graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Communications and is currently persuing an MBA with focuses in Finance and Organizational Leadership. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Nick brings extensive staffing, recruiting and sales experience to the team.

Mark “Ryan” Myers joined National Construction Workforce in the Summer of 2012 as a recruiting intern. In the Fall of 2012, Ryan committed to a full time position as a Project Manager. Ryan supports both business development and the recruiting department as National Construction continues to expand its operations. He comes from Butler University where he studied marketing and played football for the Bulldogs. Before working with National Construction, Ryan spent six months in Central New Jersey working as a Finance/Accounting Co-Op for the pharmaceutical sector of Johnson & Johnson. He helped manage a $30 million dollar marketing budget for a launch pharmaceutical. Ryan grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but now resides on the North side of Indianapolis.
